Environmental Information. The high grade stainless steel used in this product will typically contain some recycled steel (up to 70%) and it can be recycled again after its life as your mouse mat. The recycling information is permanently marked on the mouse mat to aid in this process. The stainless steel used in this product comes from Finland or the UK.
The Cork backing is made from the bark of the Cork Oak tree which is both a sustainable and biodegradable material. As part of a natural cycle the outer tree bark is harvested every 9 years without harming the tree itself, which can live for up to 200 years.
